We started experimenting with LED grow lights in 2005 and found out that they are superior to classical plant growth lights such as high pressure sodium and fluorescent lights.
Since then we have been developing better grow lights in co-operation with universities and suppliers with the feedback of our customers.
CoB stands for Chip on Board.
A single CoB LED can contain hundreds of chips forming a dense array that enables a CoB LED to produce more light output from a smaller area than is generally possible with an array of packaged LEDs.
Using a single LED can result in simpler design and product as well as providing optical advantages for uniform light and efficient optics.
